velopment invites you to take part in JEF's annual visa action "JEF - for a visa-free Europe". The event will take place on 29 and 30 September, being organized in the time when the Eastern Partnership Summit will be held in Poland.
JEF Europe has already a good annual experience in the issue, visa liberalization being one of the objective promoted by JEF Europe and provided by the JEF Europe Resolution adopted at the Federal Committee in Malta, October 2010.
1. The aim. To increase awareness among young people within and outside of the EU about the obstacles that young Europeans outside of the Schengen zone are facing when they would like to travel to any of the EU countries.
2. How to get involved.
Facebook campaign. During the period of 26th - 30th of September JEF will coordinate an on-line campaign which supposes the expression of the on-line-support for Europeans young people which are not able to travel free in EU without visa. Also, will be proposed a picture that could be used for your FB profile and will contain also the campaign's message.
PR. On 28th of September will be published the Press Release with the aim and description of the event as well as with the message supported by JEF Europe towards youth who confront with visa regime problem.
Street action. WG Project Development encourages you to take your passport and to go to the airport or to the train/bus station. Write on a wait paper the logo of the action "JEF for a free-visa Europe ", put on your passport and take pictures. Send your pictures to the secretariat by 1rst of October and involve in this all your friends and colleagues.
Political actions. You are encouraged to organize within your sections seminars, workshops, conferences on the issue inviting politicians, decision-makers, media to raise public awareness of visa regime liberalization.
Opinions. In the period of 26th- 30th of September the on-line magazine http://www.thenewfederalist.eu/ will publish articles on the visa liberalization subject, so please feel free to contact the editorial board to send them your articles and opinions.

On the second day of the action, JEF Europe raises awareness of public opinion about the technical barriers that young people from all over Europe are facing day by day because of the unnecessary visa - we continue the visa-free JEF Europe Action 2011!
